Destination Canterbury

Despite the seismic events over the last year or so, Christchurch and the Canterbury region is returning to normal as much as possible.

To a degree, business has resumed in most parts of Christchurch, although parts of the Central Business District of Christchurch (CBD) are still subject to restricted access.

We do emphasise that some businesses listed on this website may be affected by the earthquake in terms of their operational capacity. This is especially the case for accommodation and restaurant facilities in the CBD of Christchurch.
